    By using the Eclipse 384, a live sound engineer is able to provide sync reference for up to four different devices, while using the main D/A for backing material, the A/D with multiple digital outs feeding redundant recording systems, and monitor DAC to check the recording post A/D conversion.

  • Burl Audio B1 500 Series Mic Preamp

    The Burl Audio B1 Microphone Pre-Amp is based on the API 500 series form factor, the B1 is meant to compliment the B2 BOMBER ADC and the B80 MOTHERSHIP with multi-channel versatility. The B1 contains the Burl BX3 input transformer, BX2 nickel output transformer and an all discrete transistor, class-A, direct coupled, capacitor free circuit path and give your sound warmth with depth and clarity. For comparison, the B1D contains an all iron BX4 output transformer providing a straight ahead rock tone.

    Both the B1 and B1D include Gain and Level controls to let you swing from a heavy gain rock tone to something more smooth and clean, even when coupled with a low impedance ribbon microphone.

    The 1/4” instrument/line input on the front panel, mic XLR on the back panel, and PAD switch allow for hot signals and balanced line inputs. Run your tracks or mixes through the B1 to glue your sound together.

    The Burl Audio B2 BOMBER ADC is a thoroughly considered, flawlessly designed, and expertly crafted analog to digital converter. 30 segment peak amplitude and RMS metering make it great for mastering in addition to tracking and mix down. The B2 will help you avoid the normal pitfalls common to digital recording such as graininess and lack of depth by using an audio path which is complimentary to your Mic Pre, using a hybrid circuit with our own Burl BX1 transformer, and a class-A, zero feedback, zero capacitor signal path. You will find that the tonal balance and dynamics are unmatched among audio to digital converters.
