The Telefunken AR-70 Stereo Tube Microphone is flexible, and features the pristine audio quality and warmth necessary to achieve crucial stereo recordings of vocals, instruments, orchestras, live performances, ambiance, audio for sound design and more. The AR-70 features dual capsules mounted vertically at 90°. The bottom capsule features a fixed cardioid polar pattern, while the top capsule features multi=pattern operation. The pair enable engineers to capture in X/Y, Mid-Side (M/S) and dual mono modes. The NOS ECC81 twin triode vacuum tube output stage contributes to the microphone's rich detail, and warmth.
- Features a matched pair of 1" dual sided capsules (the same capsules found in the AR-51)
- Old-Stock ECC81 vacuum tube (the same tube found in the AR-51), and a matched pair of European made custom wound T14/1 output transformers
