Thanks to the d:fine Directional headset mic's cardioid pattern it rejects extraneous side and background noise that you want left out of your signal, this also creates a higher gain-to-feedback ratio. The high SPL levels are great not only for speaking, but will easily handle singing too, making the d:fine a very flexible head worn mic for conferences, churches, stages and more.

Mic Sensitivity
The sensitivity is 6mV/Pa to match the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. The noise floor of the d:fine is 26dB(A) re. 20 mUPa and if powered correctly the microphone will be able to handle sound pressure levels up to 144dB SPL before clipping occurs. A wide range of connection adapters makes it possible to use the d:fine Directional headset mic with most of the professional wireless systems available plus 48 V phantom XLR connection.
