We at dB Sound Store want our clients to be satisfied with the products they get from us.We are here to serve you and want to provide quality products and services so that you will continue to come to us in the future. Listed below are our terms and conditions.

Payment Methods:

All checks (including cashier’s checks and money orders) must clear before any orders or merchandise can be shipped out.

Bank Wire Bank details will be provided upon request. Contact us for more information.We cannot ship until bank wires have been confirmed and funds have been received by our bank.Please email us a copy of the wire transaction provided by the bank to expedite your order.

Credit Card Restrictions:

dB Sound Store retains the right to refuse credit card purchases at any time.All orders are subject to dB Sound store approval.Orders with larger charges may be denied and may require alternate payment method.dB Sound store also retains the right to charge any customer should they have overdue account balances.

Order Acceptance:

dB Sound store retains the right to reject any order placed with us and to limit quantities of any order.dB Sound Store reserves the right to cancel any order should a mistake on pricing or otherwise have been made on the website. We are humans after all. The submission of your order indicates your full acceptance of dB Sound Store terms and conditions.

Return Policy:

We offer a no hassle return policy.If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us immediately so that we can resolve it with you.If you have misused a product- we are not able to offer a refund.

dB Sound is not obligated to return the following list of items.We deal with each customer on a case by case basis regarding returns of the items listed below:

  • Any software
  • PCI cards
  • Headphones and earpieces,unless defective, in which case they can be replaced or returned for store credit
  • Microphones, unless defective
  • Any special order item
  • Computers
  • Computer Hardware
  • Hard drives
  • Over-size or overweight items

dB Sound Store has no obligation to allow refunds on any items that have been tampered with/ physically altered, have signs of wear or use, or are without original packaging.Shipping and insurance costs are not refunded.Returns should be complete with original packaging, including accessories and documentation, such as owner’s manual, warranty card, software, quick guides, etc.Any products returned that are scratched, missing documentation, with damaged or missing packaging, will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. We operate on a case by case basis.Please contact us with any questions that you may have.

We are not a rental service.However, excluding special order items, if item is defective, it will be replaced.If a special order item is defective, dB Sound Store will either repair it or have the manufacturer repair it- depending on the damage or defect. Ultimately, we want you- the customer- to be satisfied.Not all shipping costs are guaranteed on defective gear- again, depending on the manufacturer. ** but once purchased, the item may not be returned**.Please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of order if there is damage to the products.

All products, except for those listed above, can be returned for a full refund within 10 days.Beyond 10 days, products can be returned for store credit, minus a 15% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.We advice that you insure your package prior to returning it as it is still your property until we have received it back at dB Sound Store.

Use a traceable shipping service and insure your return for the value of your purchase in the event of damage or theft.You are responsible for your purchase until your return arrives at our office.Please keep your tracking information as proof of delivery back to db Sound Store.

For international returns, the customer must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number, as well as customs and shipping documents which will be provided by dB Sound Store.Failure to follow these instructions may result in additional duties and taxes, which are customer responsibility.

Warranties:

At dB Sound Store, we will double the warranty on all products.We stand behind our manufacturers and the products that we have selected to sell at our store.Granted the warranty does not include misuse of the product.

You will be responsible for shipping the gear to and from the manufacturer/ service center, but we will pay for the cost of the parts and labor involved.Remember to keep your sales receipts should you need to utilize the warranty service. If the manufacturer's warranty has expired, dB Sound Store may choose to repair the item or send back to manufacturer.We do this on a case by case basis.

Customer Privacy:

We, at dB Sound Store, strongly believe in the privacy of our customers and we do not give any of your personal information to other companies or marketing agencies.We respect your time and personal information and know that you do not need any more email spam or junk mail on your fax or in your mail box. Rest assured, our goal is to sell you the product that you want.

Credit Card Security:

dB Sound Stores uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) security to ensure that your personal information and credit card information are encrypted.We do not save or store your credit card number on our servers.We want you to feel safe when you make a purchase with us thus each time you enter your information for a purchase you will need to re-enter your information.

Shipping:

Any order that costs more than $250.00, we cover the shipping costs.We will only ship the order to the same address to which the credit card was issued. You will need to have an adult sign for the package when it arrives, unless you indicate in writing that you do not require a signature upon receipt. Call if you need special payment arrangement to be made (973-731-7131). We are flexible, within reason.

We insure all items for the full, retail value of the order.Every order is carefully packed in a shipping box or padded envelope – unless it is oversized. We cover the insurance costs for all orders.

Taxes:

New Jersey residents will be charged a 7 % sales tax.

International Orders:

dB Sound Store welcomes international customers, with some restrictions and limitations depending on the item in which you are interested.dB Sound store will not collect any import taxes or duties that your government may have for U.S. imported products.Prior to making the order, check with your local government so that you are aware of any other possible expenses you may have. The customer is responsible for any shipping charges, taxes, and duties, once the goods arrive in your country. We primarily use FedEx and UPS for shipping, but if you have another shipping company that you prefer, we can get a quote for you.

We can only ship your order to addresses verifiable by your issuing credit card bank.Please provide your exact billing address and phone number.Please be sure that this information matches that of your issuing credit card bank.Accuracy will ensure that your order be processed more easily.

And remember that the gear that you buy has a US Warranty (which we double), but you will need to pay to get the product back to the U.S. and then back to your home country again.Even though you may pay shipping charges, taxes or duty on your original order, it is important to know that your government may impose duties/ taxes for warranty items or replacement items that may have been damaged during shipment.

Certain manufacturers have restrictions on brands that cannot be shipped outside of the United States.Please contact us to find out if the products that you are interested in may be shipped abroad.We can ship to locations using U.S. postal codes (eg. U.S. military address, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, etc.).

If your package is rejected by your Customs Bureau or if the shipment could not be delivered and was returned to dB Sound Store for any reason, we are not responsible for the shipping costs.

Please be aware that pro audio is susceptible to damage during transit.Remember to save your receipt, original packing materials, and merchandise tags. Be sure to examine all boxes before accepting them.The delivery service must note any damage to boxes or cartons on the release form.If you choose to refuse acceptance, please notify us immediately so that we may work with you to arrange and expedite an insurance claim.dB Sound Store is not responsible for any denied shipping claims, but we will do our best to help you get what you need.

Pricing, Payment Terms and Billing Errors:

Prices and availability are subject to change. Unless otherwise indicated, the purchase price of items will be billed in full at the time of the shipment.dB Sound Store’s payment terms are subject to change without notice at dB Sound Store's discretion.For website orders, we confirm product pricing.Should there be any incorrect prices on the website or on sales material, we will contact you to inform you of the correct billing price prior to processing the order.Again, there are humans working behind this store site.We do our utmost to ensure accuracy, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Shipping and Delivery Process:

In order to protect your shipment from theft, we require an adult signature when delivered.An email will be sent to you regarding your shipment so that you can check delivery dates with the tracking information that is provided.Please be sure that someone will be available to receive your package.Shipping charges may be charged after three delivery attempts.

Cancellation Terms:

We will accept cancellation of your order for items that have not yet shipped or that are on backorder.Once the items are shipped, no cancellations are accepted.You may, however, return the items to dB Sound Store for a refund.See our Return policy listed above. You will be responsible for all shipping costs to you and return shipping costs to dB Sound Store.For orders paid by check, please allow two weeks to receive your refund check.Up to a 20% restocking fee may apply to special ordered or opened items. Used and vintage items are subject to a 5% processing fee if canceled before delivery.

Limitation of Liability:

Vintage gear does not come with warranty unless stated otherwise. Our return policy does apply however, if it turns out not to be what you wanted.Others products that do not have warranty coverage will be specified as such on the store site??

In no event shall dB Sound Store be liable to the buyer for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special and/or exemplary damages in connection with the products sold to the buyer, regardless of whether such damages arise out of the negligence or other fault of dB Sound Store and regardless of whether such damages are based on tort, contract, strict liability or any other cause of action and whether such damage resulted from: (1) reliance on the materials presented; (2) loss of use, data or profits; (3) delays or business interruptions; and (4) any theory of liability arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of information whether or not dB Sound Store has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In the event of any claim by the customer, dB Sound Store shall be limited to replacement of the products that are the subject of such claim, or, if circumstances would cause this remedy to fail of its essential purpose, refund of the cost of such products to the buyer, in either event upon return of any such products. By purchasing products from dB Sound Store, the buyer acknowledges that replacement or refund are the buyer's sole and exclusive remedies.

The documentation and/or related graphics published by dB Sound Store could include technical inaccuracies, obsolete issues or typographical errors. dB Sound Store assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the information or other documents which are referenced by or linked to its website.
