8X192AD/DA is equipped with 8 channels of hi-speed (capable of up to 192kHz) AES/EBU digital input/output as standard. It also features two DIO-CARD slots which can be outfitted with the following cards:
Provides 8 channel of 24 bit I/O at 44.1-192k. Mac OSX and Win drivers.
Provides 8 channel of 24 bit I/O at 44.1-192k. Interfaces directly with Protools HD Core card.
Two lightpipe inputs and outputs provide 8 channel of 24 bit I/O at 44.1-96k and 4 channels at 176.4-192k
Two TDIF D-25 inputs and outputs provide 8 channel of 24 bit I/O at 44.1-96k and 4 channels at 176.4-192k
This card comes together with the DSD Firmware upgrade and provides 8 channels of SDIF 3 DSD digital interface.
Two Sonic D-60 inputs and outputs provide 8 channel of 24 bit I/O at 44.1-96k and 2 channels at 176.4-192k for Sonic Studio HD systems
The cards will be released AFTER the initial release date of 8X192 AD/DA in September 2005. Specific dates will be announced then.
8X192AD/DA is a 1U unit and is equipped with 3 D25 connectors for its 8 channels of analog inputs, 8 channels analog outputs and 8 channels of AES/EBU DIO. 8X192 uses the same pinout of Protools HD Digisnakes (tm). More details about these cables can be found here:
